Special Effects has been designing and building decks, pergolas, arbors and trellis screens for over twenty years. Our designs have been so innovative that others imitate many of our ideas. Trex deck and railing systems, Brazilian Ipe (epay), South American mahogany and western red cedar are just some of the materials we use for our classic wood projects.

Using pressure treated pine for surfaces and railings is still an option. There are many grades available in this material with many being of inferior quality. Therefore, our company only selects the highest grade available for our pine projects. Our philosophy holds that any wood project should emulate the quality of the finest furniture available.
