Our philosophy regarding our wood and composite structures is that the final project should replicate the quality of exceptional furniture without compromise.
Special Effects has designed decks, pergolas, arbors and trellis screens for over twenty-five years all the while utilizing Ohio Valley Deckscapes to build these structures with their impeccable craftsmanship.
Trex composite, Brazilian Ipe (epay), South American mahogany, and western red cedar are the preferred materials used for our classic wood projects. The use of pressure treated pine is an option exercised with caution, so Special Effects only constructs pine projects with the highest grade available.
